I've been fortunate enough to have a job that has taken me all over the world. I have to say, other than the drain on the overall system, that traveling for work is one of my favorite things to do. It provides the opportunity to see new places, often with a fantastic local host, and really experience them. Something I will never regret.

- Red - Places I've lived for some extended period of time.
- Green - Some of my absolute favorites in all my travels. Places I would return to again or even live if I was given the right opportunity.
- Blue - Simply places I've been.
Favorites?
Always hard to chose the favorites. I'll try here along with what I found special in each of them:
- Munich, Germany - Such a great city and probably my favorite place I've been. I was trying to add up all the times I've been there and I think it's over a dozen. Known for things such as it's beer with Oktoberfest, this city is simply amazing. Someone described Munich as "a big village" and they were right. It's easy to navigate, very livable and has everything you could want. Ganz Großes Kino...
- Sydney, Australia - An amazing big city with amazing sights and people. It's always a great time visiting and easily a place where I could live.
- Cairns, Australia - A cool little beach town on the northern coast of Australia. A great departure point to get to the Great Barrier Reef as well as a town known for it's youth, hosteling through the area.
- Prague, Czech Republic - Probably the most metropolitan and accessible of the eastern block cities. It is the number one destination for stag parties and brings hours of nightlife entertainment. Also has some beautiful sights like the Charles Bridge.
- Berlin, Germany - A place where you can see WWII living history. An amazing place to visit. Berlin is also home to the Deutsches Historisches Museum which hosts a look at their history from the 1200s through the fall of the Berlin wall. Awesome.
- London, England - Expensive? Yes! Cool? Of course! A city that has it all. Iconic, trendy, cultural and beautiful.
- Rome, Italy - There are many facets of Rome that are nice, my personal favorite is what as known as Ancient Rome. Where else can you see remnants of a critical culture in our history with their amazing monuments and buildings still standing after 2,000 years? Not many places.
